"If you do stuff like that and get caught, just like Alistair now, just suck it up and don't complain about it. I think the truth will always come out... We know a lot of things about Alistair, a lot of negative things but we never talked about it and knew that the truth would come out. More dirt will come up... Alistair will receive his punishment for what he has done and we don't have to deliver that to him because karma will come and get him."

-Alistair Overeem's former Golden Glory teammate Marloes Coenen hints at previous knowledge of improprieties by the heavyweight contender, as well as more information that hasn't yet come to light, in an interview with Just Scrap Radio (transcribed by BJPenn.com).

Penick's Analysis: Overeem certainly didn't help his case in splitting from Golden Glory last year, because if there is a past history to any performance enhancer usage, those that he's made enemies of may have that dirt on him. Coenen saying karma's going to get him is certainly a pointed take from one of his former teammates, and to not be surprised by the predicament Overeem has found himself in speaks volumes as well. Whether we actually find out more or not remains to be seen, but much of the time where there is smoke, there is fire.
