Now, Taylor is readying to return in July at UFC on Fuel 4, and according to a report from Fighter's Only, he'll get that matchup with Njokuani once more.
Due to that injury in November, Taylor hasn't been seen in the Octagon since a win over Gabe Ruediger at UFC 126 in February of 2011.
Njokuani, meanwhile, has fought four times in the UFC during the stretch that Taylor's been out. He's gone 2-2 in that stretch, with all four fights going to decision. Most recently, he defeated John Makdessi last Saturday night at UFC 145 in Atlanta.
UFC on Fuel 4 takes place on July 11, and will be headlined by the middleweight bout between Mark Munoz and Chris Weidman.
Penick's Analysis: This is as solid a fight as it was for the November card. Taylor's not been anything overtly special in his UFC run, and indeed only holds a 4-5 record in nine fights in the Octagon. Still, he's had a number of really exciting fights, and should hopefully fare much better on the entertainment front against Njokuani than Makdessi did last weekend.
