WWE invades San Diego for Comic Con fun

In the eyes of countless young fans, many of the men and women known as WWE Superstars and Divas aren’t too far removed from the superheroes seen in comic books and on the silver screen. Powerful, cunning, and seemingly able to absorb a ton of damage before ultimately setting things right, the company’s crew may not be able to leap a tall building in a single bound but can certainly layeth the smackdown when necessary.

Last weekend the WWE Universe collided with the Marvel Universe (as well as a number of other comic/fantasy-related realms) when wrestlers like Layla, Alberto Del Rio, Sheamus, Brodus Clay, Zack Ryder, and Daniel Bryan headed to San Diego to take in the sights at Comic Con 2012.

Adding to the fun, Layla and Alicia Fox even participated in a Zombie Run!

Fortunately, WWE cameras were on seen and captured the whole thing. Check it out below:
