Additionally, the UFC announced that "The Ultimate Fighter: Live" competitor Justin Lawrence will drop to the featherweight division to take on Max Holloway on the card.
Okami hopes to rebound from consecutive losses to Anderson Silva and Tim Boetsch, the first time in his career he's ever lost two straight. In the bout against Boetsch, he was well on his way to victory, ahead two rounds to none on the judges' scorecards, but Boetsch charged back in the third and delivered a knockout upset with a series of uppercuts against the cage.
Palhares will look to bounce back from a loss himself. The Brazilian was knocked out by Alan Belcher last month at UFC on Fox 3. That loss snapped a three-fight winning streak.
Lawrence made a successful UFC debut earlier this month at The Ultimate Fighter Finale event on FX. He picked up an exciting head kick knockout win on the card to start his UFC career off on the right foot. He'll now drop down to the featherweight division to take on Holloway, who picked up his first UFC win earlier this month with a decision win over Pat Schilling.
UFC 150 takes place on August 11, headlined by a Lightweight Championship rematch between Benson Henderson and Frankie Edgar.
