The Bellator Fighting Championships season six welterweight tournament came to a close last night at Bellator 72. Karl Amoussou pulled off an inverted heel hook submission of Bryan Baker at just 56 seconds into the fight. With the win Amoussou earns a $100,000 payday and a title shot against current welterweight champion. British striker Paul “Semtex” Daley showcased his power with a first round technical knockout of Rudy Bears. In other main card action, Attila Vegh and Travis Wiuff advanced to the finals of the summer series light heavyweight tournament.
