Che Mills returning to the ring for September scrap with Duane Ludwig

The UFC’s upcoming visit to the U.K. is already set to feature a number of area fighters including Brad Pickett and Paul Sass. However, the organization hasn’t stopped there in terms of booking Brits with rising welterweight Che Mills surfacing as the latest Englander to see action at the September 29 show.

According to Mills via Twitter he will face Duane Ludwig at UFC on Fuel 5 in Nottingham, England. Both men, who are strikers by trade, are coming off a losing performance and will almost certainly be out for blood to prove their worth to the Zuffa brass.

The 14-5 Mills last fought in April where he suffered a TKO defeat to Rory MacDonald. Prior to the performance he’d won five straight including a successful Octagon debut last November where he knocked Chris Cope out in forty seconds.

Other than a world-class kickboxing game, Ludwig will take to the cage as the more-experienced competitor with a 21-13 record in MMA and past wins against the likes of Jens Pulver, Yves Edwards, and Amir Sadollah.

UFC on Fuel 5 is headlined by a heavyweight tilt between Stefan Struve-Stipe Miocic.
