Ian McCall will make a quick return to the Octagon, signing to face John Moraga at UFC on FOX 4. The event is set for August 4 from Los Angeles. UFC officials confirmed the fight Thursday night.
In his most recent rumble, McCall was outpointed by Demetrious Johnson in a rematch of their UFC flyweight tournament semifinal. The original bout was ruled for Johnson, but later a scoring error was revealed and a rematch signed. McCall (11-3-1) is a former Tachi Palace Fights champion.
Moraga (10-1) will be making his UFC debut. He has won each of his last four fights.
UFC on FOX 4 features Mauricio Rua fighting Brandon Vera in the main event with an intriguing match-up between Ryan Bader-Lyoto Machida also being featured on the network broadcast.
