The last 24 hours have seen UFC on FX 5 blossom from a budding card into a full-blown lineup, as a number of interesting bouts have been added to the October 5 event. Among the pairings are those pitting fan-favorite Matt Mitrione (5-1) against Rob Broughton (15-7-1) and seasoned veteran Josh Neer (33-11-1) against TUF alumnus Justin Edwards (7-2), as well as fights featuring talented featherweights Bart Palaszewski (36-11) and Diego Nunes (17-3) both looking to get back on the winning track and Darren Uyenoyama (7-3) locking horns with Louis Gaudinot (6-2).
UFC officials have confirmed all the clashes.
Mitrione has finished four of the opponents he’s beaten and never fought outside of the Octagon, while Broughton is in serious need of success after falling in consecutive match-ups.
