A dynamic featherweight bout matching Charles Oliveira against Cub Swanson and a welterweight clash between Dan Miller and Sean Pierson have been added to UFC 152 in Toronto. UFC Canada officials announced the match-ups on Twitter on Thursday.
Oliveira and Cub Swanson each enter their meeting with impressive wins in their last two fights. Submission specialist Oliveira (16-2) defeated Eric Wisely by calf-slicer at UFC on FOX 2 and Ultimate Fighter 12 winner Jonathan Brookins by rear naked choke at the TUF 15 Finale. Swanson (17-5) is coming off of back-to-back second round technical knockout wins. He defeated George Roop at UFC on FOX 2 and Ross Pearson at UFC on FX 4.
In his most recent outing Miller (14-6) put an end to a two fight skid at UFC on FX 4. He dropped to welterweight for the bout in which he earned a third round submission win over Ricardo Funch. Pierson (12-6) has gone 2-2 inside the octagon since debuting in 2010. He is coming off a unanimous decision win over Jake Hecht at UFC on FX 3.
UFC 152 takes place from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto on September 22nd. Headlining the action is the the first-ever flyweight championship fight matching Joseph Benavidez against Demetrious Johnson.
